I build things for the web. Not the loud kind — the kind that feels inevitable once you see it: a clean grid, a deliberate margin, a single color used like a signal instead of a decoration.

Florian is an independent full-stack developer. I work across the whole stack — TypeScript and React on the front, Go and Python on the back — but what I care about most is the last mile: the paper-white background, the 1px hairline, the way a page reads when typography does the work that shadows normally do.

This site is the artifact of that obsession. Every detail here — the numbered index, the mono annotations, the brick-orange signal color kept under five percent — is a small argument about what software should feel like: calm, precise, and made by hand.

When I am not building, I am writing about building, or learning something that will change how I build next.
